These are great Jennifer, I particularly like the lab.
I enjoyed reading your recent articles. The slimy tennis balls definitely ring a bell with me. I ended up buying one of those plastic thingies that you can use to pick up and throw the ball without touching it!
That antique mall you visited sounds wonderful. I know what you mean about looking at things through other people's eyes. When my husband comes to flea markets with me, he looks at totally different types of items - not all of which I find fascinating but it does get you to widen your perspective.
Anyway, I hope lots of your lovely Valentine sculptures go to good homes. My lovely german shepherd from you got loads of admiration over the holiday period as well it should.

Jen:
I have always admired (and still do) your sculptures, but never realized that your writing was so interesting and well done (Murray never told me).
Thanks for sending this to me.

Best regards, Dick

I would love to have two bowls made both with black and white beagles on it. Is that possible and what is the lead time on something like that?

I just somehow erased my "comment"-but let me try again. These are all 3 fabulous. Whimsical and real, down-to-earth and phantasmagorical.
But let me comment on the Hippo and Baby. WOW!!
It's like you've intertwined the molecules and DNA of humans and animals. We is them and them is us. The mother hippo is every mother after having done one too many loads of laundry, made one too many peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, read one book for the hundredth time. And there's her baby, oblivious and adoring at the same time.

Dear Jennifer, I just had to write to tell you how much our friend loved her dog and two cats! She opened the gift as we were skyping her and she was amazed at the animals' likenesses to her pets. She had to have said, "I just love this" at least five times and we received two follow up emails about how much she enjoys them and sits and stares at them. Obviously, the dog, especially, since it's been long gone, is a perfect likeness and brings a smile to her face as well as fosters fond memories of him.
I just had tell you how pleased we are with your creativity. This was the perfect gift!
   Thanks again, Rich Schmierer
